Geography: students are working on their inquiry projects regarding a specific water shortage in the world; students must have their projects completed and ready for display for Tuesday's open house; please review the inquiry package and rubric to help guide your group; the open house is from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.; parents are welcome to visit all classrooms
Writing: we are working on our class newspaper; currently, we are trying to complete a rough copy of the travel article by tomorrow; if students are complete, they may begin their movie review or their article on a specific business topic; please see packages assigned in class.
Health: the boys have a test tomorrow in health test regarding 'harassment' for  next Tuesday

Geography: your group geography project is due Tuesday, March the 5th

Norseman J.M.S. is having an open house from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March the 5th, to exhibit the various classes and their inquiry projects that involve the theme of water and its importance.  7B is focusing on water shortages since we focus on the topics of oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, and groundwater in the grade 7 geography curriculum.

If you were absent when your class took the Geography Challenge and you wish to participate, you can come to Room 205 on Wednesday, February 20th or Friday, February 22nd at 11:15 a.m..

Semifinals
A list of semifinalists will be posted on Friday, February 22nd.  The names of the semifinalists will be posted on Friday, February 22nd. 

This semifinals will take place in Room 206 in Period 4 or Period 5 on Tuesday, February 26th.  You will be excused from class to take part.

Finals
This will take place the week of March 4th.
