Forming Your Own Party Assignment
Step 1: Recruit members, a leader, leaders or representatives for your group.
Step 2: Discuss a name for your party.
Step 3: Discuss colours and symbols for your party.
Step 4: Develop a platform on five to ten key issues such as your beliefs in military, taxes, jobs, climate change and foreign affairs.
Step 5: Your poster, pamphlet, brochures, video clip, website or radio ad must captivate your audience and encapsulate your party.
Step 6: Be prepared to answer questions on how you will run our country from the members of the classroom press.
Step 7: The class will have a vote.
